After interviewing 33 witnesses and spending 380 hours investigating allegations of sexual abuse at the Karnes County immigration facility, a federal investigative agency determined no sexual misconduct occurred at the detention center.

The Office of Inspector General initiated the investigation after an inmate, sorry, detainee, with no first-hand knowledge, reported rumors that several women held at the facility were having sex with guards in a laundry room and restroom late at night or early in the morning.
