The one-time home of the late Clyde “Smitty” Smith — an Arizona supermarket magnate who later founded and built Tapatio Springs golf resort — is still on the market after undergoing $400,000 in price cuts.

Smith owned the estate in the ultra-posh Dominion area from 2008 until 2013, and the current owners listed it this spring with for a price just shy of $3 million. Now, more than 200 days and five price adjustments later, it’s going for slightly under $2.6 million.

While that’s still plenty of cash even after the cuts, the six-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bath property isn’t exactly small — nor is it without an abundance of high-end features.

Smith’s former 8,200-square-foot mansion includes multiple archways and an abundance of rustic bare timbers among its striking architectural features. It also boasts a two-story study and its own gym.

Outside, a covered patio with both a fireplace and an outdoor kitchen overlook a pool outfitted with multiple water features.

This home is listed by Sandra G. De La Garza with Super Sotheby’s International Realty.
