San Antonio can be treacherous, especially with so many drivers distracted by their phones and climbing behind the wheel after drinking. That said, some local intersections are particularly infamous for just how dangerous they are — even on a “good” day.

Each year, SA law firm Villareal & Begum uses Texas crash data to analyze San Antonio intersections for how many collisions occur in each. The firm also looks at how many wrecks occur near the intersections as a direct result of its congestion, and researchers also score intersections based on the severity of injuries caused in the crashes.

While some of the data dates back to 2020, Villareal & Begum updated its report as recently as March 2024.

The worst intersection on its list had 65 crashes and 38 injuries according to the latest report. Some of those injuries were severe.

Can you guess which intersection is the worst? Buckle up and find out.
