Post-punk revivalists Interpol will bring their next tour to The Espee in San Antonio on Thursday, March 18, the group revealed Friday.

Shoegaze-meets-black metal outfit Deafheaven will open the show at the 3,000-capacity outdoor venue in St. Paul Square.

Artist presale tickets become available at 10 a.m. local time Wednesday, Oct. 28. Registration for presale access is available at the band’s website. Local presales will follow at 10 a.m. local time Thursday, Oct. 29, and general sales get underway at 10 a.m. local time Friday, Oct. 30.

The San Antonio performance is part of a nine-date run supporting Interpol’s eighth studio album, This Mirror Weighs a Ton. The new release has picked up glowing reviews from the New York Times, Rolling Stone and The Guardian, which called it the band’s masterpiece.

This Mirror Weighs A Ton was recorded in the band’s New York home base and adds new textures to its Joy Division- and Echo and the Bunnymen-influenced sound, including strings, woodwinds, layered vocals and experimental sound design. It was produced by Grammy and Oscar winner Andrew Wyatt (ROSALÍA, Charli xcx) and mixed by Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, Tame Impala).

Ticke prices unavailable, Thursday, March 18, 2027, The Espee, 1174 E Commerce St., atgentertainment.com.
