State Attorney General Ken Paxton is so obsessed with Texans’ bathroom habits that he’s set up a tip line to report violations of the state’s recently implemented Texas Women’s Privacy Act, otherwise known as the “Bathroom Bill.”

Senate Bill 8 recently became the law of the land, prohibiting transgender and nonbinary people from using the bathroom of their choosing in state government buildings, public schools and universities.

SB8 imposes fines on government institutions for restroom violations, with penalties of $25,000 for the first offense and $125,000 for each subsequent violation.

However, Texas is so far floundering with exactly how to enforce it.

Paxton — ever the culture warrior — wants to look like he’s doing his part, so he set up a tip line for citizens to complain about institutions where they’ve witnessed violations of the murky and malicious law.

Paxton announced the new initiative Wednesday morning with a press release that referred to trans women as “mentally ill men.” The release’s exact headline reads: “Attorney General Ken Paxton Launches Tip Line to Stop Woke State Entities from Allowing Mentally Ill Men to Invade Women’s Spaces.”

Within the press release, Paxton doubled down on his assertion equating trans women to mentally ill men.

“The Texas Women’s Privacy Act was passed to ensure that women and girls in Texas are protected from mentally ill men wanting to violate their basic right to privacy in places like restrooms and locker rooms,” Paxton said. “It’s absolute insanity that action like this is even needed, but unfortunately in the day and age of radical leftism, it is.”

Thus, Paxton has launched a complaint form for Texans to rat out perceived restroom malfeasance.

“I encourage anyone who believes a state agency or political subdivision has violated SB 8 to submit a complaint via the form on my website,” Paxton continued. “Together, we will uproot and bring justice to any state agency or political subdivision that opens the door for men to violate women’s privacy, dignity, and safety.”

Those who believe they have witnessed a violation can file a complaint through Paxton’s website.

It would be a real shame if the woke mob flooded the tip line with bogus bathroom reports and made it unusable.
