Pickup trucks account for four of San Antonio’s five most-popular used vehicles

When it comes buying used vehicles, San Antonio residents’ top choice is a pickup truck — a Ford F-150 to be exact.

To determine that, the website iseecars.com analyzed more than 7.7 million used car sales to find 2024’s most popular vehicle make and model, both countrywide and in individual markets, including the Alamo City.

Turns out the F-150 was also the most popular used vehicle nationwide as well.

Overall, San Antonio buyers were big on trucks, which made up four of the five best-selling used-vehicle brands. Here’s a look the city’s five-top selling vehicles and the percentage of the overall market they account for:

1. Ford F-150, 3.7%
2. Chevrolet Silverado 1500 3.4%
3. Toyota Camry 2.7%
4. Ram 1500 2.3%
5. Toyota Tacoma 2.3%
