The San Antonio Food Bank is partnering with local employer Boeing to feed more than 600 households for the Easter holiday.
During a mobile food distribution this Saturday, the Food Bank and Boeing will provide approximately 40,000 pounds of produce, meat, dairy products and other foods to San Antonio residents in need. The drive-thru pantry will operate at Boeing Center at Tech Port, 3331 General Hudnell Drive, and from 9-10 a.m.
The distribution is expected to aid roughly 2,000 food-insecure individuals, Food Bank Chief Philanthropy Officer Michael Guerra told the Current.
The event is the third of four mobile food distributions the Food Bank is doing in partnership with Boeing. In 2025, the aerospace giant provided a $100,000 grant to the local nonprofit to help address food insecurity in low-income areas of San Antonio.
Organizers requested that cars enter from the Boeing Center parking lot on Billy Mitchell Boulevard and encouraged those who need food to pre-register online.
While pre-registration is encouraged, it’s not required. However, food will be available on a first-come, first-served basis with those who pre-register receiving priority, Guerra said.
