Sweet Leaf Tea issued a voluntary recall of some of its products in glass bottles.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced a recall today for the Texas-based steeping company’s 16-ounce glass bottle products. The recall is because of the “possible presence of glass fragments,” which “was the result of glass breakage during the filling process.”
Four people have reported glass fragments in the tea, though no injuries have been reported. The recall does not impact every Sweet Leaf Tea product. A full list of which products are impacted is available here.
Sweet Leaf Tea is available at 19 locations around San Antonio, according to the company’s website.
