This weekend, San Antonio Botanical Garden will host its annual Spring Plant Sale, offering attendees a chance to emulate the park’s lush offerings in their own backyard.

The seasonal sale will offer more than 200 varieties of native plants, succulents, grasses and pollinator favorites suited for South Texas landscapes, according to garden officials.

The event will run 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15, at San Antonio Botanical Garden, 555 Funston Place. It supports the institution’s mission of inspiring residents to “connect with nature while promoting sustainable gardening practices across South Texas,” officials said.

Attendees can shop a diverse selection of climate-appropriate plants while receiving guidance from Botanical Garden volunteers.

“Plant sales at the San Antonio Botanical Garden are where conservation meets cultivation, and where your home garden gets a head start with plants grown for South Texas, by people who know and love this place,” according to a statement from garden officials.

“Every plant you take home is rooted in expertise, grown with care, and supports the Garden’s horticulture and conservation work.”

Admission is $10 to reserve a shopping time. The full ticket price will be applied toward plant purchases. Reserve tickets are available at the garden’s plant sale website.
