Fans of creative campaign finance, online pissing matches with celebrities and incessant accusations of “wokeness” take note: U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz wants to represent Texas again in 2030.

Just shy of a year after trouncing Democratic challenger Colin Allred, Cruz has filed to run again for the U.S. Senate.

In addition to politely sharing his real name, “Rafael Edward Ted Cruz,” in the document, Texas’ junior GOP senator has let us know that his campaign will be bankrolled by no fewer than three separate political action committees: Ted Cruz for Senate,  Ted Cruz Victory Committee and Ted Cruz Victory Fund.

And Cruz enthusiasts — the dude must have some since he keeps getting reelected — take note: the filing doesn’t preclude him from running for president in 2028.

Assuming of course, Teddy Boy can find time to shoehorn a presidential campaign into his thrice-weekly podcast schedule.
