In a highly anticipated announcement for state Democrats, Texas Sen. Leticia Van de Putte (D-San Antonio) made her bid for Lieutenant Governor official this morning. In a packed gymnasium at San Antonio College, Van de Putte criticized current GOP leadership for their failures in public school funding, infrastructure and health care and vowed to protect the needs of working class families, women and veterans if elected Lt. Gov.
