The Alamo’s newest defender — Miss Isabella “Bella” Francisca Veramendi — has joined the world of social media.

After taking Twitter by storm last week when the Texas General Land Office announced that Bella was the newest Alamo cat, the feline created its own account.

That’s cute.

We found out about Bella’s Twitter account today, and the cat has already gained more than 100 followers, which is probably due to the feline’s quick wit.

Bella succeeds Mistress Clara Carmack, or C.C., the previous Alamo Cat, who, sadly, passed away last summer.
