A former Deco District grocery store recently listed for sale is an explosion of color and eclectic design that evokes the surreal set of the 1980s TV show Pee-wee’s Playhouse.

Meanwhile, the living room features rounded walls drenched in bright primary colors, an array of eye-catching light fixtures and a linoleum floor with more bright pops of color.
More vibrant tile work livens up the bathroom, and loft space offers a serene getaway from all the crazy color and funky geometry.
However, don’t expect the wild decor to stick around. The current sales listing promotes the property as an “exceptional opportunity to own a prime commercial property in one of San Antonio’s most strategic locations,” adding that the spot would be ideal for “office, medical, gallery, retail, or professional use.”
