We've all been in the spot, especially during this time of year, where it's suddenly nighttime and yet we're still not tired. But maybe you just don't feel like doing the whole bar scene. Don't worry – we've got you covered. Here are twenty local spots you and your buds can have a blast after hours.

Has anyone ever been to Laser Legend and not had fun? We didn’t think so. Since they’re open until 9 p.m. on weeknights and midnight on weekends, there’s time for every night owl to play a round or two of laser tag, glow golf, arcade games, and even an escape room - coming soon.

Main Event Entertainment
1911 N Loop 1604 East, (210) 305-5999,
With bowling, laser tag, arcade games, billiards, gravity ropes, karaoke, minigolf, rock climbing, and virtual reality, what doesn’t Main Event have? The only thing we can think of is an early closing time: they stay open until midnight on weekdays, and 2 a.m. on weekends.

Open from 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. and even later on the weekends, Bandera Late Night Bingo has to be one of the coolest bingo joints in town. While you’re there, feel free to binge out on concessions like cheese-covered Hot Cheetos.

Blind Tiger Comedy Club
902 NE Interstate 410 Loop, (210) 828-1470,
Boasting as San Antonio’s only underground comedy club, the Blind Tiger opens on on the weekends at 8 p.m. The secret show, however, doesn’t start until about midnight. Can you handle having to wait to find out who the secret guests are?

Hotel Emma
136 E Grayson St, (210) 448-8300,
Located in the Pearl and built in 1894, Hotel Emma houses not only the in-house tavern, Sternewirth, but also the Hiatus Spa. While Sternewirth, of course, is open until midnight during the week (and later on the weekends), the Hiatus Spa stays open until 9. Remember – it’s never too late to get a pedicure. Need we say more to make this gorgeous staycation more tempting?

Diversions Game Room
9900 San Pedro Ave, (210) 341-2561,
What fans of the joint call a “real arcade,” Diversions Game Room has about 75 games, such as air hockey, Tetris, and other classics. Open until 2 a.m. daily, you’ll be sure to have a good time - especially since $20 can buy you 100 tokens.

5539 N Loop 1604 West, (210) 202-2694,
Open until 11 p.m. on weeknights and even later on weekends, you don’t have to know how to play golf to reserve a bay at Topgolf (though it helps to have some familiarity with the game). Even if you don’t know how to play and embarrass yourself in front of your friends, you can still enjoy the full-service restaurant and bar on location.

13307 San Pedro Ave, (210) 496-3811,
Though their hours are all over the place, Bowlero is always open until at least 11 p.m. no matter which day you go. Of course, you go for the bowling, and you stay because you got hooked on their appetizers and drinks. Don’t blame us.

Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club
618 Northwest Loop 410, (210) 541-8805,
They say laughter is the best medicine, and a comedy show is definitely a good way to fix your late-night boredom. While the venue says it's only open until midnight on the weekend, shows that start by this time will go on until the stage is clear, so that means you could very well laughing until 2 or 3 a.m.

Ingram Late Night Bingo
6709 Northwest Loop 410, (210) 680-0388,
Ingram Late Night Bingo is kind of like Bandera Late Night Bingo, except they open their doors and keep them open later than Bandera. They’re owned by the same family, after all: Golden Family Bingo. Did we mention that they give more to charities in Texas than any other Bingo hall? Now you can feel good about your late-night games, no matter which location you choose.
