Texas architect Milton Ryan was a Frank Lloyd Wright protege  renowned for designing sleek and snazzy mid-century churches, including San Antonio's University Presbyterian.

Ryan also left his stamp on plenty of mid-century homes in the Alamo City, including this stylish and high-ceilinged Terrell Hills residence listed a week ago for $995,000.
