Here's a sneak peek at the Briscoe Western Art Museum's 2023 Night of Artists

The Briscoe Western Art Museum's Night of Artists returns this month with an exhibition showcasing nearly 300 new artworks by 80 of the country's leading contemporary Western artists.

This year's Night of Artists kicks off on March 24 and 25 with a ticketed collector's summit and opening weekend, followed by a six-week exhibition and sale from March 26-May 7, which is included with general admission to the museum.

The exhibition features works in a variety of mediums by artists including Kevin Red Star, Kim Wiggins, Billy Schenck, Teresa Elliot, Don Oelze, Z.S. Liang, C. Michael Dudash, Jeremy Lipking, George Hallmark, Michael Ome Untiedt and Jan Mapes.

“With a rich array of works from today’s top artists, events like Night of Artists prove the strength of Western art," Briscoe President and CEO Michael Duchemin said in a statement. "The genre continues to flourish thanks to the talent showcased by our participating artists and the increasing number of collectors and enthusiasts drawn to the beauty and spirit these works capture.”

Here are 21 examples of the dynamic works on display.
