Eight Members of the Same Family, Pregnant Woman Among Victims of Sutherland Springs Shooting

Posted By on Mon, Nov 6, 2017 at 11:16 AM

Update 4 pm Monday:
A GoFundMe account has been set up to cover various expenses for the family who lost eight members, now identified as the Holcombe family and confirmed by ABC News.

The account was made on behalf of Sarah Holcombe Slavin, who is said to have lost her parents Bryan and Karla, brother Marc and sister-in-law Crystal (who was pregnant) and four nieces and nephews, including Crystal's three children (Emily, Megan and Greg) and Marc's 1-year-old daughter Noah.

Original post below, 11:16 am Monday:

Although the names and ages of the family members have not been released nor confirmed, Facebook posts from community members indicate that a local family lost eight loved ones in the Sutherland Springs shooting Sunday morning.

One of those family members was reportedly five months pregnant. Three of her children are also said to have been part of the family.

Other news outlets, including CNN, have quoted a relative and community member as saying that the eight family members spanned three generations, from young children to grandparents.

The victims, aside from Annabelle Renee Pomeroy, have not been named in an effort to first notify family members.
