Kosher street food in the 78212? Yes, please. Credit: Winslow Swart/Facebook

If you’re looking for a vegan and vegetarian joint that’s filled with kosher ingredients and methods, chef Andrew Weissman’s latest (you may remember him for his other hits — Sandbar, The Luxury, Il Sogno and late great Le Reve) might be the place for you.

Opening up at 3910 McCullough, Moshe’s Golden Falafel, will serve lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday with dinner hours in the works for next week. The concept stems from a September 2013 pop-up window at the late Minnie’s Tavern where chef and co. cranked out a superb falafel filled with fresh hummus and crunchy kosher pickles.

We’ll post more details as we get them.
