Meteorologists have been describing the Saharan dust that recently billowed into S.A. with the kind of alarm usually reserved for Category 5 hurricanes, killer bee swarms and zombie plagues.
Stay indoors, they caution, especially if you have asthma or other chronic respiratory problems. And if you absolutely must go outdoors, for all that is good, please, please, please wear a mask.
