And the stately 1911 residence, listed for $875,000, isn’t something house hunters are likely to encounter every day. The property offers remarkable architectural details, high-quality millwork and features something rarely found in homes anymore, particularly in Texas: a basement.

Grand columns on the home’s facade hint at the opulence within, including arched entryways, wainscoting and chandeliers throughout the structure. Exquisitely tiled stairs lead through another archway to the home’s private quarters.
