Hey coffee nerds and aficionados — it’s that time of the month again. The Fairview (3428 N. St. Mary’s St.) will host the next latte art throwdown on Thursday, April 14 from 6 to 9 p.m, and Alyson Alonzo will serve as the event’s guest MC.
Latte artists (or thrower-downers? throwdowners?) will compete for cash, plus prizes from Waterfall Beverages and Barista Magazine. If you’re not trying to cop a caffeine buzz in the evening, a buzz of a different kind will be available through Alamo Beer Co., who’s sponsoring the event. There will also be door prizes raffled off for spectators.
