Ahhhhh, Oyster Bake. The beloved part of Fiesta that lets you relive your late ’90s and early-aughts guilty pleasures. Like when rap/rockers P.O.D. played last year or Tool-influenced, alt-rockers Chevelle rocked a set the year prior.
Organizers behind the event announced the first round of artists including H-Town rapper Mike Jones, nu-metal bros Drowning Pool, “Father of Mine” singers Everclear, as well as Cumbia living legend Fito Olivares and a slew of local bands and artists like latin-jazz outfit Volcán and conscious-rap heavy-hitters Third Root.
Kicking off at noon on Friday, April 20 (4/20, heh), the first show starts at 5pm and ends Saturday, April 21 with a fireworks show to light up at 10:30pm.
