A Black woman is voicing anger about her treatment at a Republican rally in San Antonio on Sunday, saying she was forcibly removed from the venue.

The plot twist? She’s a Republican content creator who was there to cover the rally, which featured U.S. Senate candidate Ken Paxton and U.S. House hopeful Brandon Herrera.

In a series of four videos posted Sunday, Thelma Louise — a Texas resident who promotes GOP candidates and conservative talking points to her more than 200,000 TikTok followers — chronicled her two-hour trip to San Antonio’s Crown Ridge Banquet Hall.

She documented protesters outside the rally and even interviewed a reporter from TMZ DC, the tabloid’s Washington bureau, in the parking lot.

Then things took an unexpected turn, according to Louise.

She alleges that security asked her to leave while she was filming a speaker who appeared before Paxton, adding that personnel escorted her out of the far North Side banquet hall.

In one clip, Louise can be heard speaking to a security guard, who tells her the decision to remove her from the venue was final.

In her videos, Louise maintains that she wasn’t causing a disturbance. She added that she later learned that Paxton’s campaign manager wanted her removed.

“I left the Democratic Party two years ago,” Louise said in a clip. “I have volunteered for President Trump’s campaign, and I have worked very hard promoting members of the Republican Party. I’m not quite sure what’s going on, but to be walked out of a room full of people and isolated as if I’ve done something wrong … I cannot believe it.”

Paxton’s campaign didn’t immediately respond to the Current’s request for comment.

The Republican senate hopeful’s campaign has been forced to deal with hecklers as it’s held events in Texas cities.

During an August rally at San Antonio’s Angry Elephant, a Republican-themed bar, security removed several hecklers, one of whom accused Paxton of cheating on his wife and another who shouted that Paxton protected pedophiles during his time as Texas attorney general.

Earlier this month, security personnel escorted 18 hecklers from a rally at Freeman Coliseum featuring both Paxton and President Donald Trump.

Early voting runs from now through Oct. 30. Polls will reopen on Election Day, Nov. 3.

Texas politics is a mess. We make it a readable mess.
