We’re guessing it’s Chick-fil-A’s pleasure to add another San Antonio location.

The Georgia-based chicken chain — known for polite staff who frequently say “my pleasure” — will open its 37th Alamo City restaurant next spring, a filing with state regulators shows.

The new store will be located in Northwest San Antonio at 8889 Bandera Road near OP Schnabel Park, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. It will be situated between the Nani Falcone Skate Park and the Maverick Branch Public Library

Construction on the 5,100-square-foot restaurant will begin Nov. 8 and wrap up in April of next year, the document states. The construction cost is around $4.5 million, and the new outlet will include the usual Chick-fil-A amenities, including a drive-thru, canopies and an outdoor patio.

The new restaurant adds to the franchise’s long list of locations in San Antonio, making it Alamo City’s 21st. So while we know it’s a wait, you can get your chicken fix at one of the 20 other units in the city.
