Looks like Texas Rep. James Talarico’s U.S. Senate campaign campaign committee finally figured out who owns the Internet service provider Starlink Inc.

Hint: the person’s last name rhymes with Tusk, and he also owns X and has shown a proclivity for dismantling the federal government.

The Talarico for Texas campaign committee spent $330 a month last year to buy Internet service from Elon Musk’s Starlink Inc., federal expense reports show. Curious given Musk’s far-right activism and coziness with the Trump administration.

However, more recent filings also Talarico for Texas recently switched providers.

Talarico for Texas’ latest expense report indicates it’s no longer doing business with Starlink, but has instead linked up with cable carrier Spectrum. And the $151.51 it dished out per month appears to be a bargain by comparison.

No, there’s not a lot of money tied up in that contract, but it seems like a better fit for Talarico, who once declared that “Christian nationalism kills.”
