The Boerne-based Sunny’s: All Day Brunch and Bar has opened a second location, this one at The Rim shopping center.
The new restaurant launched Monday, bringing an elevated brunch and cocktail experience to far North San Antonio. In addition to serving Sunny’s favorites — ranging from crepes and eggs Benedict to barbacoa chilaquiles — the Rim location will offer an after-hours cocktail concept not available at the original location.
Sunny’s at The Rim will operate 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily. The After Hours at Sunny’s social space will serve up craft cocktails from 7 p.m.-midnight Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and feature a live DJ playing house music.
Beyond its creative spin on brunch, the year-old Sunny’s concept is known for its tropical atmosphere, thoughtful hospitality and aesthetic spaces.
“There’s nothing like the feeling of the sea breeze while eating brunch on the patio of the Amalfi Coast, and having experienced that myself, I knew I wanted to bring that feeling back to the city I grew up in,” Sunny’s CEO Albi Zagaj said in a statement. “I’m very grateful to announce Sunny’s at The Rim, where we’re going to deliver that vacation experience to you.”
