A recently listed for sale in a North Central San Antonio cul-de-sac comes with a lot of wishlist items, and all for the price of just $750,000.
Some of these items, found on many a Pinterest board, are something one wouldn’t typically expect to get with a house that costs less than $1 million. But this five-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath residence appears to be in the business of over-delivering, most notably with an elaborate spiral staircase that steals the show in the heart of the home.
Built in 1985, the dwelling is mostly what one might expect from new construction of the time. Rooms are nice, but simple. The home’s 3,800-square-foot floorpan is large, but not ostentatious.
But in a two-story entryway, a wall of glass pained doors and windows leads to a wooden spiral staircase, the property’s most grandiose feature. The wooden staircase leads up to a second story landing and even through one of the house’s five bedrooms — which could be used as a flex room instead — before finishing in a study on the third floor.
Elsewhere in the interior, a wet bar overlooking the formal dining room conveys refinery with rich wood cabinets, a wine rack, wraparound countertops and a sink. After all, it’s always good to have a cocktail close at hand for nights of entertaining.
And it might not be a bad idea to take that cocktail to the backyard, where a hot tub waits as the perfect place to enjoy a nightcap — with or without company.
This home is listed by David Abrahams with Phyllis Browning Co.
