Influencer Clavicular is coming to Texas A&M University on Aug. 28 as part of a college tour that needs to occur for some reason.
Clavicular, known as “Clav” to his fans, is best known for originating lingo like “looksmaxxing” and “frame-mogging” — concepts based on improving your appearance and using it to one-up others.
“My whole life it was obvious I was going to end up famous,” Clav, real name Braden Peters, said in a promo video for the college tour.
A synth track pulsates through the sizzle reel as Clavicular steals a guy’s wife, makes out with women at a club and hits himself in the face with a small hammer. He explains that his dreams of being rich from “lying around and having my picture taken” and “being able to fuck any girl I want” came true.
Clavicular became famous in 2025 after clips showcasing his controversial beauty regimen circulated on the male-focused livestreaming platform Kick. That regimen includes “bonesmashing,” or striking himself in the face with a small hammer, ostensibly based on the personal theory that it improves its shape. He’s also confessed to taking anabolic steroids and using crystal meth as an appetite suppressant.
Clav is also credited with mainstreaming racist and misogynistic 4chan terminology like foid, a portmanteau of “female” and “humanoid,” implying women aren’t quite human. And who can forget the “Heil Hitler” singalong he participated in with white nationalist Nick Fuentes and alleged rapist and sex trafficker Andrew Tate?
The modern-day Narcissus, who famously questioned “the ROI” on love earlier this year, has struggled with his own legal troubles over the past few months. The state of Florida recently decided not to pursue charges against Peters for conspiracy to commit battery. When detectives arrested Peters in March, they alleged the influencer instigated a fight between his girlfriend and an ex.
Then there was also the time he got brutally mogged by a Florida judge during a hearing over accusations that he shot and killed an alligator in the Florida Everglades during a livestream.
During his Texas A&M visit, Clavicular will appear at Good Bull Ice House, which promises meet-and-greet opportunities. Comments posted to an Instagram post about the visit ranged from “incel night” to “we are actually in the worst timeline.”
Another comment left on the post — “Is Peter Thiel renting his toy out?” — alludes to the internet rumor that PayPal cofounder and Palantir Chairman Peter Thiel is secretly bankrolling Clavicular as a major donor — an allegation Clavicular has vigorously denied.
