How much time have you spent in the iconic Japanese Tea Garden near Brackenridge Park?
Perhaps that question is multifaceted: how much time have you spent there by day with family, and how much time have you spent there at night with friends?
Either way, you know the appeal.
Jingu Festival, a free event taking place this Saturday at the garden, celebrates the 100th Anniversary of Jingu House, the beautiful structure that serves as the public space’s temple on the mount, so to speak.
The gathering also celebrates the Tea Garden’s commitment to making San Antonio unique and beautiful.
Free, 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, Japanese Tea Garden, 3853 N. St. Mary’s St., (210) 559-3148, saparks.org.
