Fresh produce haven Sprouts Farmers Market will build a new grocery on San Antonio’s far West Side, the Express-News reports.

Citing a filing a state licensing filing, the daily reports that the chain plans to open a 23,000-square-foot store at 9702 Texas 151, near the intersection of Texas State Highway 151 and Southwest Loop 410.

A Sprouts spokesperson told the Express-News the construction will cost $2.9 million, start in April and wrap up in September 2022. The store will anchor a planned retail center at the southwest corner of Texas 151 and Hunt Lane, behind a QuikTrip gas station.

The West Side store will be Phoenix-based Sprouts’ third in San Antonio, joining locations at 22135 S. Bulverde Road and 8101 Callaghan Road.

The spokesperson was unable to provide the daily with a projected opening date for the new location.
