The Esperanza Peace & Justice Center’s annual International Peace Market/Mercado de Paz is taking place through Sunday to offer an alternative to Black Friday shopping and the purchase of mass-produced goods.
The market, which got underway Friday, features 80 vendors — both local and international — selling handmade items, including jewelry, pottery, clothing and folk art.
The Esperanza Center is located at 922 San Pedro Ave.
