A nightclub shrouded in mystery is coming to St. Paul Square, according to a MySA report.

The concept reportedly will make its debut at 104 Heiman St., the same spot where goth venue Cream once planned to develop a multi-level nightlife destination. That project fell through in late summer.

Not much is known about the new concept other than its name — Otherside Nightclub.

A sparse Instagram account and an equally vague website offer little more information. Neither, for example, includes an opening date.

The Current reached out to Otherside via Instagram to learn more but got no response by deadline. The website alludes to the nightspot’s focus on being a premier dance club.
“Are you ready?” text on the site asks. “At Otherside, there is no true beginning or end — only the timeless rhythm of the night, where every beat weaves into the eternal dance of existence.”

The site continues: “Here, every moment is an opportunity to make nightlife great again, breaking boundaries and setting a fresh standard for unforgettable nights.”

Make nightlife great again? Is this some sort of Trump EDM club? We kid, but it definitely sounds like electronic dance music will figure heavily on the playlist.

A teaser video on Instagram offers another clue, showing a tight shot of someone spray-painting a wall with the club’s motto: “Our Reality is Our Freedom.” The evocative scene is set to “ Too Kind to be Loved” by obscure French music producer Murmur, a track that straddles rave music and fragmented Soundcloud rap.

Rap raves?

The mind reels, but the body is ready.
