San Antonio is getting yet another pickleball club this year.

Maryland-based Dill Dinkers will open up a 15,500-square-foot indoor pickleball facility on the city’s Northwest side in March. The location at 18450 Blanco Rd. will feature five indoor courts with cushioned surfaces to help players avoid knee and ankle injuries, according to a press release.

“Pickleball is more than just a sport – it’s a way to bring people together and build community,” Brian Birdy, who franchised the San Antonio location, said in a statement. “With Dill Dinkers, we’re creating a space where players of all ages and skill levels can connect, stay active, and enjoy the game year-round. San Antonio is ready for more dedicated indoor facilities, and we’re excited to make it happen.”

Although Dill Dinkers doesn’t require folks to have a membership to play, those who sign up for a membership will have priority access and lower rates when booking courts.

Annual membership applications opened on Friday and cost $340 for individuals, $637.50 for couples, and $977.50 for a family of up to 5, according to Dill Dinkers’ website.

Folks can also sign up for clinics and lessons and regularly scheduled pickleball programming.
