The Oakland-born Lebanese-Palestinian-Syrian-Italian-American stand-up is best known for his 1,001-day streak of consecutive shows — a feat of endurance that included an unlikely appearance on America’s Got Talent and ended days after his appearance on The Conan O’Brien Show in 2013.
Obeid brings sharp intelligence and quick wit to every set, blending wordplay, social commentary and nerdy charm. The New York Times praised his style as both smart and subversive.
