A porcupine at the San Antonio Zoo is having a pretty good Tuesday after correctly predicting the winner of every matchup of the NCAA Men’s Final Four basketball tournament.

On Monday, prior to the final matchup between the Florida Gators and the Houston Cougars, the zoo tweeted out a video showing Elmer the porcupine correctly predict the outcome. Spoiler alert for those who recorded the game but haven’t seen it get: the Gators won.

That’s not all, though.

Elmer also correctly predicted that the Houston Cougars would beat the Duke Blue Devils, as seen in a video posted on the Zoo’s X account prior to that matchup.

Although the Zoo didn’t provide video evidence, it did post a picture on X allegedly showing Elmer predicting that the Florida Gators would beat the University of Auburn Tigers in that Final Four contest.

It’s not the first time Elmer the porcupine has dabbled in predicting the outcome of San Antonio sporting events.

In December, the porcupine showed that the University of Colorado Buffalos would defeat the Brigham Young University Cougars in the annual Valero Alamo Bowl.

However, that prediction didn’t quite pan out, as BYU defeated the Buffalos 36-14.

Still, not bad for a rodent who probably doesn’t even follow either sport all that closely.
