St. Paul Square’s Sunday vendor markets, Sundays at the Square, are now a weekly occurrence.

The events, which will run 10 a.m.-2 p.m. every Sunday, feature a variety of vendors offering handmade crafts, artisanal food and seasonal organic produce, according to officials with the east-of-downtown entertainment destination.

“Following an outpouring of positive feedback from the community during the first few weeks of this family-friendly event series that featured an outdoor farmers market and morning yoga, organizers at the historic St. Paul Square have partnered with a pair of local small businesses — Juntos San Antonio and Mobile Om — to elevate the Sunday event series for San Antonians,” St. Paul Square officials said in an emailed statement.

Courtesy of Mobile Om, donation-based yoga will provide a moment of zen at the weekly markets. Yoga classes will take place at 11 a.m. at The Spire, St. Paul Square’s church event space. Classes are accessible to all levels of yoga experience and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Live music and DJs will also be on hand at the Sunday gatherings to provide vibes while visitors peruse wares at the market booths.

The markets, put on by Juntos San Antonio, will announce more vendors and participating businesses in the coming weeks, officials told the Current via email. Those are expected to include restaurants in St. Paul Square that have agreed to participate.

There’s no admission fee for the weekly outdoor markets. Leashed pups are also welcome at the event. St. Paul Square’s courtyard is located at 117 Heiman Street. The Spire’s address is 230 Center Street. The St. Paul Square Instagram account will offer updates as vendors continue to join.
