If you’re looking for a live show you can sink your teeth into, be aware that chef, author and TV personality Alton Brown is coming to San Antonio this fall.
The Food Network fixture will bring his An Evening of Alton Brown to the Majestic Theatre on Tuesday, Nov. 12, for an evening of cooking demonstrations, chatter and music. While general tickets go on sale this Friday via ATG Tickets, a venue presale is available now through 10 p.m. May 6 for those who enter the passcode “MAJESTIC”.
Brown is known for his Bill Nye-esque cooking shows, including his groundbreaking and long-running Food Network series Good Eats and the plentiful how-to on his YouTube channel. He’s also hosted shows on the network including Cutthroat Kitchen and Iron Chef America.
The filmmaker-turned-culinary figure has taken his touring act to more than 300 cities, and his current tour is visiting 17 metros in addition to San Antonio.
Though Brown is largely keeping the lid on highlights of his current tour, he did reveal audiences can expect an “intimate night” focusing less on spectacle than connection and storytelling.
We’re hoping that still includes the Mega-Wok, though.
