Tuesday marked the first performance of Cornyation 2026, the three-night Fiesta show centered around satire of local, state, national and international events.
This year’s installment at the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre proved as wild and ribald as ever, skewering worthy targets and offering up an array of amazing costumes. We even got dressing room access for some amazing behind-the-scenes looks.
Hell, Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones even showed up — and proved she’s a good sport after getting some onstage ribbing in the production.
