If you blink, you might miss most of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, but no matter, because we’ve reached the halfway point to Fiesta.

Next year’s party with a purpose is slated for April 18 through 28, so we’re now within six months from larger-than-life hats, bedazzled chanclas, chicken on a stick and stacked cups.

This means the festivities are kicking off soon. For instance The Fiesta San Antonio Commission will host the unveiling of the Official Fiesta® 2019 Poster on Wednesday, October 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Witte Museum’s Mays Family Center. Tickets to the event are available here and are free for commission members, or $70 for non-members. Join the commission for $65 and for free admission.
