After three years in business, Pearl brunch spot Full Goods Diner will serve its last customers on Dec. 31, the Express-News reports.

The brainchild of operators of Paperboy in Austin and San Antonio’s Potluck Hospitality, Full Goods rolled into the Pearl in 2022, offering all-day brunch comprised of elevated breakfast staples. However, the owners this week to the daily they have decided to part ways.

“After three years, we want to thank Full Goods Diner for being part of Parls’ ecosystem and wish them all the best,” Full Goods ownership group said in a statement to the Express-News. “We are assisting associates in transitioning to new roles within Pearl and look forward to introducing another outstanding concept in that space in the near future.”

The closure comes at the end of what’s been a tough year for San Antonio eateries and watering holes. Industry experts told the Current that business for the city’s hospitality industry is down 10% to 15% this year, driven in part by tariffs and a slowing economy.

Full Goods’ closure comes mere months after another Pearl hot spot, Carriqui, announced that it too would be shutting down for good.
