Grab the tissue box, friends. NBC’s is airing Parks & Recreation the final episodes starting Tuesday, January 13. If you’re anything like us, you’re a bit obsessed with the amazing show that’s made its way into our hearts. To celebrate (and mourn) the end of one of our favorite shows, which launches into its last season tomorrow at 7 p.m., we’ve rounded up a list of recipes.
1. Waffles, and other breakfast foods (duh)
This one’s kind of obvious. Try firing up the waffle iron with this recipe.
2. Calzones
Even if you feel the same about calzones, the Ben in your life probably loves them (because he’s a weirdo). Try making these calzones at home.
3. Bacon Explosion
Ron’s diet might not be the most colorful, but he knows what’s up when it comes to meats. Try your hand at this BACON EXPLOSION (and make sure to invite friends over).
4. Treat Yo’ Self
You can’t eat fine leather goods or fragrances. Instead whip up some Champagne cupcakes and head to the mall.
5. Andy’s Mouth Surprise
Andy Dwyer (aka hot as can be Chris Pratt) is a genius. If you can’t find a giant 5-pound gummy bear, take a Skittle, put it between two Starbursts and voilà, Andy’s Mouth Surprise.
6. Turkey Burgers
Chris Treager is literally the healthiest person we know. Try replicating his turkey burgers from the burger cook-off, or use this recipe instead.
7. Nutriyums
Ann Perkins would surely love something nutritious and delicious. Unfortunately, this Sweetums product isn’t as healthful as it seems. Grab some raisins instead.
8. Chicky-chicky-parm-parm
Tom Haverford is by far the biggest foodie on the show—he opened his own restaurant, he Instagrams his food, and he’s got a serious list of nicknames for all his favorite dishes. Make this chicky-chicky-parm-parm, or pre-birds and enjoy.
9. Order in
Our favorite intern-turned-government employee nails it.
Jerry/Garry/Larry didn’t turn in a favorite. DAMMIT, JERRY!
