Seguin-based pitmaster Adrian Davila of Davila's BBQ will sign copies of his book Cowboy Barbecue: Fire & Smoke from the Original Texas Vaqueros on Saturday, June 23 at Barnes & Noble located at 321 NW Loop 410 Suite 104.
The book features 75 recipes with serious Texas flavor including barbacoa, lengua and calabacita con pollo. Davila's food truck will be on hand and will serve up a free order of three mini brisket tacos with every book purchase.
Barbecue fans may recognize Davila as a contestant (and first-place winner) on the Food Network show BBQ Blitz “Texas Takedown,” as a guest chef on the Food Network’s The Kitchen and as a judge on the Food Network’s BBQ Kids Champion.
The signing takes place Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.
