The Medical Center brewery that could is celebrating its fifth anniversary this Saturday, August 25 from 4 to 10 p.m.
And it wouldn’t be a Busted Sandal Brewing bacchanal without chingos of beer. Fifteen beers will be poured, including a wine barrel-aged Witbier5 Year Anniversary Brew; the first batch of 726 Lager; two secret casks; Pank Drank Raspberry Passion fruit IPA; Jeffeweizen Shandy; Roccoco Imperial Coconut Brown Ale;Bourbon Barrel El Robusto Porter; Jeffeweizen Hefe; Hop Dong IPA; Watermelon 210 Ale; Tanlines Pale Ale; El Despierto Coffee Porter made with coffee from Texas Grounds Coffee Company; Lafitte’s Reserve Dark Ale; 210 Ale; El Robusto Porter; Fire Pit Wit; and Finding Friday Mexican Lager.
The shindig will feature food vendors including MOBQsa food truck, Jersey’s Bakery: Italian Baked Goods and Other Delicious Desserts, and pineapple fruit bowls by local chef John Tamez.
Admission, $20, includes seven 7-ounce pours and a commemorative glass. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.com.
