Restaurant industry nonprofit Culinaria’s Summer Restaurant Weeks has returned, offering hot deals on meals at even hotter restaurants. The celebration of San Antonio’s culinary scene will take place Aug. 9-23 with more than 150 restaurants participating, according to organizers.
A wide array of cuisines will be on offer with prix fixe menus that run $25 for brunch, $20 or $30 for lunch and $35, $45 or $55 for dinner.
Participating dining destinations include Elsewhere Garden Bar + Kitchen, Mediterranean eatery Ladino and The Jerk Shack and Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery, the latter two winners of the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand Award. Other participants include Bilia Eatery, Acenar Mexican Restaurant, Box St. All Day, Bliss, Brasserie Mon Chou Chou, Copa Wine Bar, Fife & Farro, Isidore and many others.
A full list is available on the Culinaria website.
In addition to the prix fixe menu, some participants will offer optional add-ons including wine pairings, speciality cocktails and additional courses.
Culinaria’s semiannual Restaurant Weeks have served up delicious deals in the Alamo City for more than 15 years as a way to stimulate the local culinary scene. Locals and visitors alike get the chance to try top-tier establishments at a discount, and local restaurants receive support through an influx of reservations.
“With summer travel, the heat, and busy schedules, Restaurant Weeks is what everyone looks forward to participating in as both a restaurant and an attendee,” Culinary President and CEO Suzanne Taranto-Etheredge said in a statement. “It can become an annual tradition and is the perfect way to try out new restaurants, revisit your favorites and to dedicate time to dining out.”
