Spurs Sports & Entertainment is once again scouting for local restaurants to fill fans’ bellies.

Working in conjunction with Coca-Cola and catering giant Aramark, the NBA franchise is seeking 12 homegrown food concepts to participate in the fifth year of its Spurs Culinary Residency program. Businesses tapped for the program will showcase their menu items at the Frost Bank Center’s concession areas for the 2025-26 season.

The program’s online application is open now through 11:59 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4.

“As we open applications for the fifth year of the Spurs Culinary Residency, it’s incredible to see how far the program has come in showcasing San Antonio’s vibrant food culture,” SS&E Associate Director of Culinary Experience Kevin Barker said in an emailed statement. “Each season brings new energy, new talent and new flavors to our fans.”

Last season, the Culinary Residency Program expanded from one to two locations inside the Frost Bank Center to accommodate its growth and offer more visibility to local food concepts. This season, the two locations will be Section 4 outside the Southwest Charter Club and Section 217 on the Balcony Level next to the H-E-B Fan Zone.

“With more restaurants and a fresh location in the arena this year, we’re continuing to elevate the game-day experience while honoring the culinary creativity that makes this city so unique,” Barker added.

Restaurants picked for the program will work with SS&E and Aramark officials to plan and prepare their signature dishes, and each will be featured in rotation for up to nine Spurs home games. The business’ owners also will be able to participate in professional development opportunities offered by SS&E to help grow their expertise, team officials said.

Last season, the program hosted San Antonio-area restaurants and food businesses including The Hayden, DonutNV, Hotaru Sushi, Bussin’ Q, Cake Llama, Maui’s on Main, Benjie’s Munch, Sweet Cheeks Bake Shop, Crepelandia210, Tacos Al Carbon Cabron, K-Pop Dogs and The Purple Pig BBQ.
