Riverwalk bar Elsewhere has released new details on its upcoming Northside location, which will feature a 52-foot Ferris wheel.
Co-owner Terrin Fuhrmann revealed in a recent Facebook post that the new location will host a groundbreaking ceremony this Thursday. The spot will open at 4507 N. Loop 1604 West Access Road near Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
Elsewhere management told MySA that the project is expected to be completed next June, featuring a slew of Instagrammable amenities.
“We’re bringing the magic of Elsewhere to San Antonio’s Northside,” Fuhrmann’s Facebook announcement reads. “Celebrate the beginning of something magical, featuring a Ferris Wheel and a greenhouse pavilion.”

In addition to a Ferris wheel and greenhouse pavilion, the 6-acre property will include a 370-square-foot bar and a 42-foot-long flower tunnel.

The property also will boast a 2,500 square-foot Victorian house, which will be used to host weddings and other private events. Additionally, the gathering spot will include LED TVs, fire pits, covered seating and — much like its flagship downtown location — swings, Fuhrmann told MySA.
There are also plans to include a hedge maze, secret garden and pond, he added.

Furhmann and co-owner Nollan Ellis first revealed plans for Elsewhere Too in 2022 and hoped to open it the following year, MySA reports. Now, it seems the end for the ambitious project may finally be in sight.
