A trio of out-of-town food chains have new locations in the works across San Antonio.

Los Angeles-based Fatburger, Las Vegas-based Nothing Bundt Cakes and Atlanta-based Round Table Pizza all expect to open additional stores here by summer’s end, filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show.

The new Fatburger will be located at 7514 S. New Braunfels Ave., Suite 2101, in the La Picosa Town Center, according to state records. Construction is slated to start in May, with a tentative completion date set for late August.

The chain, which specializes in third- and half-pound “fatburgers,” already has four San Antonio-area locations.

Nothing Bundt Cakes, a bakery empire with seven San Antonio locations, is adding an eighth at 119 SW 410, Suite 106, in the Westover Hills neighborhood. Construction on that store is expected to begin in April with a July end date.

The chain focuses on a bundt-only menu, offering a wide assortment of classic and signature flavors, in addition to specialty cakes for a variety of holidays and special occasions.

A third Round Table Pizza location is in the works near Stone Oak. The restaurant will be located at 4272 TPC Parkway, Suite 103, right across the street from the JW Marriott, according to the chain’s state filing. Construction begins in April with an anticipated August end date.

The West Coast-style gourmet pizzeria has a full array of specialty pies along with salads and appetizers including garlic-Parmesan wings.
The Current reached out to all three chains for more details but got no response by press time.
