San Antonio Summer Restaurant Weeks just got a little tastier.
Culinaria, the nonprofit behind the annual culinary event, is adding a third week to this summer’s installment of its semiannual fundraiser. That means local foodies can enjoy special Restaurant Weeks menus from Saturday, Aug. 8, through Saturday, Aug. 29.
In past years, San Antonio Restaurant Weeks has only run for two weeks, meaning this is the first time it’s expanded by an extra week.
During Restaurant Weeks, San Antonio-area dining establishments curate special prix-fixe menus that are priced to bring diners through the door. The aim is to offer an affordable showcase of the best of the city’s food and drink scene.
A portion of the proceeds also funds Culinaria’s work aiding the city’s hospitality community through educational initiatives, chef collaborations and citywide events.
Participating restaurants in this summer’s Restaurant Weeks include Katerina Restaurant and Bar, Outlaw Kitchens, Sari-Sari Filipino Restaurant, Benjie’s Munch, Cavalier, King William Wine Co. and more. Participants also feature special drinks from Culinaria’s beverage partners — Bending Branch Winery, Tito’s Homemade Vodka and Shiner Texas Spirits.
The Culinaria website offers an up-to-date listing of restaurants and their prix-fixe menus and prices.
