The Pearl-adjacent Oxbow Building, which includes Cap Bottle Room and once housed the now-defunct Italian cafe Arrosta, is gaining a new food and beverage concept.

French-inspired Voila Cafe is slated for an opening later this month in the colorfully facaded building at 1803 Broadway. The restaurant is the first original project from Stephan Raveneau, owner of the Houston-based Sweet Paris Creperie & Cafe chain’s La Cantera franchise.

Voila Cafe will be a fast-casual spot with breakfast, lunch and dinner options, Raveneau told the Current, adding that he aims to make the dining experience affordable for local residents.

The eatery will open at 7 a.m. and feature fresh French pastries such as croissants in the morning. The French culinary theme will continue throughout the day. Raveneau teased other menu highlights, including charcuterie boards, croque monsieur sandwiches, waffles and more.

While Raveneau and his team haven’t yet set a grand opening date, he said he’s aiming for mid-June.
