Pullman Market will host an event this Sunday that seems designed to beat the heat. It’s a love letter to ceviche.

Dubbed Mariscos y Mezquite, the event will take place at the Pearl fixture from 6-9 p.m. Each $55 ticket includes unlimited ceviche tastings from participating chefs plus a drink.

The tasting will take place in the Mezcaleria, the Pullman Market’s main bar. Chefs participating include culinary talent from Miles, Ladino, Leche de Tigre and (a)mar, a new Pan-Latin eatery set to debut soon at Pearl. There also will be a live whole tuna breakdown from Bluefina, a company dedicated to supplying wild-caught and sustainably raised bluefin tuna.

Chefs from all of the participating restaurants serve ceviche selections on their regular menus, with Leche de Tigre being named after a famous Peruvian ceviche dish.

Ceviche enthusiasts can continue the fun at the participating restaurants long after the event. From the large array of cebiches at Leche de Tigre to the vibrant ceviche dish off ‘the setlist’ at Miles and the ceviche negro with yellowfin tuna at Mezquite, San Antonio has plenty of ceviches to enjoy on a weekly basis.
